Sathva was founded to advance human welfare, and all of our work flows from this fundamental commitment.
Founded on a humid and sultry evening of a just-another-day in June 2001, by a group of committed college students, we have grown steadily. We are a registered NGO and established under The Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act 1975
A fundamental challenge facing every society is to create Political, Economic, and Social systems that promote Peace, Human welfare and Sustainability of the environment on which life depends.
An ideal solution to create perfect harmony is to practice the art of Empowerment.
Empowerment therefore is the keyword and the best way to forecast the future is to create it.

Sathva conducted a medical camp on October 24th at Veeranakunnam, a village situated between Kalpakkam and Madhuranthagam, little over 70 Kms off Chennai on the ECR corridor
Veeranakunnam and its surrounding villages are mainly populated by members of Irula tribe.
Over 300 villagers of the Irula tribe attended the medical camp.
The camp was conducted with the guidance and active participation of doctors viz, General Physician, Gynecologist, Dermatologist, Ophthalmologist, Dentists, Pschycologist along with nurses and paramedics.
